A teenager has been arrested after he was seen taunting police on Facebook with the line "catch me if you can", after they posted an online appeal to find him.

Logan Rhys James was wanted by Gwent Police in Wales for breaching his license conditions after being released from prison on 6 February.

The 19-year-old had been sentenced to eight months in prison for a street knife attack, but breached his licence less than a week later because he failed to maintain contact with police. He was then recalled to prison.

After Gwent Police posted his image and details of the appeal on their Facebook page, James commented under his photo in an apparent attempt to taunt them. He wrote: “Haha catch me if you can wont [sic] see me slipping.”

He was arrested in Caerphilly at around 5.20pm on Sunday 15 February, and is currently in police custody.
