Appeal to find woman who may have witnessed Penarth death

CCTV images have been released of a woman who police believe witnessed a fatal road crash in the Vale of Glamorgan.

South Wales Police said the pensioner was travelling on the same Penarth bus as the 90-year-old victim on 23 December at about 17:10 GMT.

They both got off at the same stop but went their separate ways.

The victim was then hit by a silver Peugeot, driven by a 70-year-old woman, on Lavernock Road.

She was taken to the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff, but died the following day.
