Version 0 of 1.

A 37-year-old County Down man has been charged with people trafficking and making immoral earnings.

Mark Alexander Russell from Primrose Way, Dromore, was arrested in an investigation into human trafficking.

He was charged with bringing a woman into the UK, knowing that a sexual offence would be committed against her and controlling prostitution.

A detective sergeant told the court he believed he could connect the accused, who was bailed, to the two charges.

Belfast Magistrates Court heard that Mr Russell is to appear in court again next month.
