Mr Noble, who was based in Alloa, had recently returned from a two-week intensive urban search and rescue course in Texas.
He was one of only 22 firefighters in the UK certified as structural collapse technicians following the course.

The road between Tillicoultry and Dollar is expected to remain closed for a considerable period of time while an investigation into the cause of the crash is carried out. It is understood the appliance was responding to an automatic fire alarm at Strathdevon Primary School in Dollar when it left the road and hit a tree. The call turned out to be a false alarm.

Arie Rodenburg, owner of the nearby Hillfoots Garden Centre and Golf Driving Range, said: "We just heard a big noise. We can't get near the scene because the road is closed.
"There were loads of fire engines, ambulances and police cars there and even a helicopter."
