The good mixer: spiced brandy chai cocktail recipe
Version 0 of 1. Chai tea has long been a favourite at the Ethicurean. Serve this in a tea cup and saucer, and nobody’ll know it’s not altogether innocent. Serves two. 300ml whole milk4 tsp loose chai tea (or 2 chai teabags)50ml clear honey (as local as possible)50ml Somerset cider brandy Put everything bar the brandy in a pan and simmer for two minutes. Take off the heat and leave to steep for 10 minutes. Slowly bring up to a suitable drinking temperature, strain and serve. |
