Isis posts video of child militant shooting dead 'Israeli spy' Muhammad Said Ismail Musallam Isis posts video of child militant shooting dead 'Israeli spy' Muhammad Said Ismail Musallam
(35 minutes later)
Isis has released a video purporting to show the killing of an Israeli Arab accused of spying for Mossad at the hands of a young boy. Isis has released a shocking video purporting to show a child shooting dead a 19-year-old Israeli Arab man it claimed was a spy.
In the 13-minute video posted online, a militant and a boy of between 10 and 12 dressed in camouflage stand behind a man in an orange jumpsuit kneeling on the ground. The 13-minute video shows a man identified as Muhammad Said Ismail Musallam dressed in orange jumpsuit confessing to being a spy for Mossad, Israel’s intelligence agency, before he is shot dead by a boy who appears no older than about 12.
The fighter makes a brief statement in French accusing the man of working for the Mossad before the boy steps forward and shoots the captive, identified as Muhammad Said Ismail Musallam, in the head. The highly-produced footage also showed him re-enacting his training and discussing how much he would be paid to spy on Isis.
The video could not independently be verified, but it was released by the group's Furqan media arm and corresponds to previous Isis videos. He is then shown acting out the mission where he was caught by Isis militants and warns anyone else spying on the extremist group that they will be caught.
A young boy is then seen leading him by the back of his neck through grass in slow motion, before the camera pans out to show the child and a militant, both dressed in camouflage, stood behind a kneeling Mr Musallam.

Musalam's father, Said, said shortly after the video's release that he had not seen it yet. But he said his 19-year-old son left for Syria four months ago without telling his family. The French speaking militant issues threats against Jews after condemning Mr Musallam as an “evil apostate spy”.
The video has not been independently verified but was released the militant group’s Furqan media arm and displayed the Isis flag in one corner.
Speaking after the video was published, Mr Musallam’s father claimed his son was not a Mossad spy, saying he had fled to Syria four months before. Mr Musallam eventually contacted the family online from the extremists' de facto capital of Raqqa in northern Syria and said he wanted to return home, his father said.

More than a month ago, the family received a call from an unidentified person who said Musallam had fled Isis, was caught at a Turkish checkpoint, and was put in Isis jail.
"They did not want to let him leave because if he comes back, he might be caught by the Israelis and tell them what he had seen. So they wanted to get rid of him," the father said. "I know my son.
