Firefighters have rescued two people from a blaze at a house in Cardiff.

Crews were called to a property in Heol Chappell, Whitchurch, just after 20:00 GMT on Thursday.

The fire broke out on the first floor and one casualty was taken to hospital while another was treated at the scene.

Crews from Whitchurch, Ely and Cardiff tackled the blaze.
