She attended Morgan Academy during the morning, but left after lunch with a friend and was seen boarding a number 17 bus in Dura Street at 13:06. She had not been seen since she got off a bus at Charleston Drive that afternoon.
Police confirmed she got off the bus at Charleston Drive, near Dickson Avenue, at about 13:30. She was "traced safe and well in the local area" on Saturday morning, police said. They thanked members of the public and the media for their help.
Elisa has not been seen since, despite a major police investigation into her disappearance.
She was described as being about 5ft 4ins, with long blonde hair and very fair skin.
When last seen, she was wearing a navy parka-style coat with a hood, a white blouse, black trousers and a Morgan Academy school tie.
At the time she was also carrying a pink Nike drawstring gym bag.
She may also have a change of clothes with her.
It is understood there is nothing to suggest that Elisa has been the victim of crime, but there are major concerns over her wellbeing as she is considered to be very vulnerable.
