Britain plans to add two transport helicopters and an enhanced communications system to its defense systems on the Falkland Islands. The islands in the South Atlantic are claimed by both Britain and Argentina. They fought over the islands in 1982. Britain plans to spend roughly $268 million in the next decade to improve facilities on the islands.
