'Police' kill Kenya opposition MP Tension after Kenyan MP shot dead

An opposition MP has been killed in Kenya, as violence continues over last month's disputed election. People are fleeing the western Kenyan town of Eldoret after an opposition MP was shot dead by a traffic policeman in disputed circumstances.
David Too was shot dead by a traffic policeman in the western town of Eldoret, said a spokesman for his Orange Democratic Movement (ODM). The police say that David Too was killed in a domestic dispute unrelated to the political crisis but the opposition call it an "assassination".
He is the second ODM MP to be killed this week. The shooting of Mugabe Were in Nairobi sparked violent clashes in slums seen as opposition strongholds. A local police official says that Mr Too was having an affair with the wife of the policeman, who shot them both.
Reports say that angry crowds have marched on the police station.
Officers dispersed them by firing shots into the air, reports the AP news agency.
Members of President Mwai Kibaki's Kikuyu community have been fleeing the Rift Valley town, seen as an opposition stronghold.
