Norfolk Police probe Downham Market air rifle shooting

Police have arrested a 19-year-old man in connection with a shooting in which a younger teenager was seriously hurt.

The 15-year-old boy was in a critical condition following the incident involving an air rifle in Downham Market on Saturday.

Norfolk Police said he received emergency treatment at Papworth Hospital and was in a stable condition.

The force said the 19-year-old had been arrested and released on police bail while its investigation continued.
