Grant Bodell shooting: Man charged with murder

A man has been charged with the murder of a father of two who was found with gunshot wounds in Sheffield.

Grant Bodell, 23, was discovered on wasteland off Queen Mary Road in Manor in the early hours of 21 June. He died later in hospital.

Torrington Smith, 25, of Samuel Close, is due to appear at Sheffield Magistrates' Court later.

Police have said previously they believe Mr Bodell was the victim of a targeted attack.

Four other men remain on bail after being arrested by police.
