Car ploughs through garden wall into Weymouth house

Homeowner Josh Simmonds' said: "There's a whole wall on top of the settee, we're all so lucky to be alive." The silver Ford Ka hit the house in Corporation Road just after 17:15 BST on Wednesday. The driver of the car, a 78-year-old woman, was taken to hospital as a precaution. It is believed she escaped serious injury. The property is due to be assessed for structural damage and an investigation has begun. |
