At least three explosions believed to be caused by car bombings have hit the Yemeni capital, Sanaa, residents and officials say. Several mosques have been hit by a series of explosions in the Yemeni capital, Sanaa, causing dozens of casualties, officials say.
Several mosques and at least one building belonging to Houthi rebel officials were reportedly hit, causing dozens of casualties. At least two blasts were caused by car bombs. Health and security officials said at least 23 people had died.
It was not immediately clear who carried out the attack. A building reportedly used as the headquarters of Houthi rebel officials was also hit.
