Sinn Féin councillor Bill Groves said people were out of their homes for around three hours.
"There are elderly people there, people with children there, and they are displaced from their homes late on on a weekend evening," Mr Groves said.
"It's unfortunate that this kind of stuff is still happening in our communities."
