Police are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of a mother and child who have been reported missing in Edinburgh. A mother and child who were reported missing in Edinburgh have been found by police.

The 29-year-old Japanese national lives in Tullibody, Clackmannanshire. Police said they had been found safe in the Alloa area of Clackmannanshire on Thursday morning.

Insp Nick Young said: "We are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of both Manna and Mantaro and are eager to trace them as soon as possible.

Ms Sinclair is described as being a slim woman of Japanese descent. She is about 5ft 5in tall and has long black hair.
She was last seen wearing a black vest and possibly a green jacket.
Her son is under 4ft tall and has a slim build. When last seen he was wearing a white t-shirt and had a red rucksack on his back. He is likely to be carrying a brown teddy bear.
