A body has been found in a river in County Durham by police searching for a missing 14-year-old. | |

'Absolute tragedy' | |
Cameron was a pupil at Parkside Academy, Willington, which said in a statement the school community was devastated at the tragic loss. | |
"He was a popular boy, full of high spirits and fun, and well-liked by both pupils and staff, and it is an absolute tragedy to lose such a lovely boy on the very cusp of adulthood," the statement said. | |
"Our thoughts today are very much with Cameron's parents, brothers and wider family." |
