At least 120 people have been injured after two trains collided near South Africa's largest city, Johannesburg, paramedics medics have told the BBC. | |
The crash took place close to Booysens station south of Johannesburg on Friday evening. | |
A spokesperson for ER24 paramedic service told the BBC that the injuries range from minor to serious and there have been no fatalities. | |
It is unclear what the cause of the crash was. | |
The spokesperson said at least 85 people had been admitted to hospital and paramedics were treating others at the scene. | |
According to South African news provider News 24 one of the trains was derailed in the crash. | |
