In a separate incident, fire crews have also been tackling a blaze at a flat in Ardrossan in North Ayrshire.
Crews were called to the property in Barr Street in the town at 20:12.
A fire service spokesman said they faced a "well-developed fire" within a three-storey block of residential flats.
Police Scotland confirmed they had officers in attendance, but there were no further details given.
