Weapons cache with 62 knives found in London car boot

Several weapons caches including a car boot filled with 62 knives have been uncovered by Scotland Yard.

The car, stopped in north-west London on Monday, had machete-style and combat knives in the boot.

Two properties were also searched with 12 disguised stun guns and cut-throat razors found among other weapons.

A 39-year-old man has been arrested by police on suspicion of possession of firearms and offensive weapons. He remains in custody.
