Matthew Daley in court over Don Lock 'road-rage' killing

A man has appeared in court charged with the murder of great-grandfather Donald Lock in an alleged "road-rage" attack.

Mr Lock, 79, was stabbed on the A24 in Findon in West Sussex on Thursday after a minor collision with another vehicle.

Matthew Daley, 34, of St Elmo Road, Worthing, appeared via video-link at Hove Crown Court and was remanded in custody until 25 September.

He is also accused of possessing a knife in a public place.

Mr Lock, a retired solicitor, had recently celebrated his 55th wedding anniversary with his wife Maureen and had also been given the all-clear from cancer.
