'Challenging three years' He completed the degree with part-time studying while playing rugby full-time. Sinfield has led his club to six Super League titles, one Challenge Cup and three World Club Challenge crowns. He said: "It's been a long road, a challenging three years and I've enjoyed the experience. It's been worth every minute. "Any qualification like this is demanding, regardless of whether you're full-time or part-time, but to do it part-time and have a full-time job running alongside it is really tough." Sir Gary Verity, the chief executive of the tourism organisation Welcome to Yorkshire will also receive an Honorary Doctorate from the university. He was instrumental in bringing the 2014 Grand Départ of the Tour de France to Yorkshire. |
