A 23-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after two people died at a house in Stansted. A murder investigation is underway after two people died at a house in Stansted, police have said.
The man and woman were found injured when police and the ambulance service arrived to the property at Bentfield Gardens at around 11pm last night but were pronounced dead at the scene. They appealed for anyone with information to contact DCI Simon Werrett at the Brentwood major investigation team. A force spokesman said: "We were contacted just before 11pm and attended an address in Bentfield Gardens alongside the amublance service to find a man and a woman injured inside. Sadly both were pronounced dead."
