A series of loud bangs reported to police in the Newbridge area of Edinburgh is thought to have been caused by fireworks. | |
Police were called to the Riverside area at about 08:00 on Sunday after calls about a "suspicious incident". | |
Roads in the area were closed off and a cordon remains in place. | |
However, a spokesman for Police Scotland said police had retrieved a number of items which were believed to be bangers. | |
