Officers have appealed for the drivers of three vehicles to come forward.
They have issued a witness appeal saying they want to speak to the drivers of a new-shaped black Ford Focus, a silver or grey vehicle and a white van with AMEY written on the side.
Det Chief Insp Ceri Hughes said: "We would urge the driver or passengers of any of these vehicles to please make contact with our incident room."
