Firefighters have tackled a large building fire at a caravan park in Ceredigion. Over 60 holidaymakers were evacuated from their caravans when a fire broke out at a holiday park in Ceredigion.

Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service received a 999 callout at about 02:20 BST on Thursday. Site owner Michelle South said firefighters brought the blaze under control quickly. She said it was contained to a machinery storage unit.

Ms South said: "The priority was to get everyone out of their caravans and make sure everyone was calm. We now want to focus on everyone enjoying the rest of their holidays."
Holidaymakers Sam and Shadina Dolsun alerted neighbouring caravans after being woken by "loads of bangs" caused by fire.
"We were just lucky the wind was blowing the right way so it didn't catch anyone's caravan," they said.
