A man managed to take pictures of two suspects who allegedly tried to steal his camera, despite suffering a heart attack.

The 69-year-old captured images of two people on Tuesday as he collapsed in Dudley's Priory Park, after being approached on a stolen motorbike.

The man, who was taking photos of flowers, managed to crawl back to his house to alert emergency services.

He had a pre-existing heart condition and is now facing life-saving surgery.

West Midlands Police has issued the images and is appealing for public help to identify the two people in the photographs.

The unnamed photographer said he was confronted by two men who were riding a motorbike at about 14:30 BST. Police have indicated the registration plate was false.

Police have said the scrambler involved is thought to have been used in the theft of another motorbike, a blue Yamaha YZF R125, from a multi-storey car park at the Merry Hill shopping centre in Brierley Hill last Saturday.

CCTV images from the car park, showing two men arriving on a red scrambler-type bike, have also been released.
