The funeral was held at St James United Methodist Church in Alpharetta, just north of Atlanta. After a hearse arrived, escorted by two policemen on motorcycles, Atlanta mayor Kasim Reed was seen entering the church, as was a cousin, Jerod Brown. “We’re diehard fans of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown, we just wanted to be near as we could be,” she said.
