Birmingham bus collides with car then tree

Four people were taken to hospital after a bus crashed with a car and then ploughed into a tree.

It happened at the junction of Highfield Road and Harborne Road in Birmingham at about 15:55 BST on Saturday.

A woman in her 30s and a girl, 10, both in the car, suffered minor injuries.

A man and woman who were on the bus were treated for back pain and limb injuries. All were taken to the Queen Elizabeth hospital.

The bus driver, a man, was treated at the scene.
