She was found dead in her home at Hazel View, Dunmurry, after the alarm was raised at 05:00 BST on Sunday 2 August.
Police from the Serious Crime Branch are appealing to members of the community for help in finding her killer.
They want to speak to anyone who saw Ms Dornan on Saturday night when she was socialising with friends.
Anybody who saw her in the early hours of Sunday morning as she walked home is asked to contact detectives.
Witnesses said flames could be seen billowing through the house from miles away.
Speaking shortly after the fire, Tanya Watson, Ms Dornan's friend, said: "She was the life and soul of everywhere she went - there's guys here this morning paying tribute to her who have only met her once, she made that much impact on somebody's life as soon as she entered it.
"This is huge loss to our community, she was involved in everything, every aspect, from community centres to youth centres she was involved and her kids were heavily involved, she put herself out there and made herself known and she was perfect."
Friends and neighbours have organised a vigil for the dead woman to be held outside her Lagmore home on Monday evening.
