U.N. Chief Appeals for More Aid to Support Palestinian Refugees
Version 0 of 1. Secretary General Ban Ki-moon of the United Nations beseeched donors on Tuesday to fill an emergency $100 million gap in funding for the agency that aids five million Palestinian refugees in the Middle East. Many United Nations agencies are under severe financial pressure because of emergency efforts to help people displaced by the conflicts in Syria, Iraq and Yemen. |
