Helicopter search for Llandudno bookmaker robbery suspect

A man is being hunted by police helicopter in Conwy county after a robbery at a bookmakers.

The man entered William Hill Bookmakers on Gloddaeth Street in Llandudno just before 09:30 BST on Monday. His face was concealed by a bandanna.

Police said he threatened staff, demanded money and left with cash.

North Wales Police said the bookmaker had been cordoned off and a police helicopter was searching the area.

The suspect has been described as white with a tanned complexion, between 5ft 3in (160cm) and 5ft 5in (165cm), of slight build and in his early to mid 20s.

He was wearing a blue hooded top, dark blue tracksuit bottoms, black trainers and a dark green bandanna with an emblem or motif on it.

He was last seen heading towards the junction with Chapel Street.
