An ex-soldier with post traumatic stress disorder was so drunk and out of control he could not remember police Tasering him, a court heard.

Police were called to Ian Murselovic's flat in Old Colwyn after he dialled 999 telling ambulance staff he had weapons and "was feeling violent".

The 44-year-old grabbed a 4in kitchen knife and threatened to kill them.

Murselovic admitted affray and was given a 10-month sentence suspended for two years at Caernarfon Crown Court.

"Just think about that - thousands of volts passing through your body and you can't recall," said Recorder Simon Mills.

Murselovic, who had a habit of phoning emergency services when he was drunk and then being aggressive when they arrived, also received a Criminal Behaviour Order for three years.

It bans him from using abusive or threatening or abusive language including to emergency and health workers or from making 999 calls except in an emergency.
