The fatality occurred today at St David's Barracks in Bicester, the Ministry of Defence has confirmed. The emergency services were called to St David's Barracks in Bicester, at around midday on Friday, after a man believed to be in his twenties was injured, according to Thames Valley Police.
The serviceman, who was in his 20s, was found in a critical condition and later died on site, the Thames Valley Police told BBC News. The serviceman was found to be in a critical condition.
His death was not believed to be suspicious or involving a third party, the force added. Despite attempts to resuscitate him, he died at the scene.
