The emergency services were called to St David's Barracks in Bicester, at around midday on Friday, after a man believed to be in his twenties was injured, according to Thames Valley Police. The fatality occurred today at St David's Barracks in Bicester, the Ministry of Defence has confirmed.
The serviceman was found to be in a critical condition. An investigation has been launched, an MoD spokesman said.
Despite attempts to resuscitate him, he died at the scene. More to follow
