At least two Prince William County police officers were injured Saturday night in a shooting, authorities said. Three Prince William County police officers were shot and wounded Saturday evening as they answered a call about a domestic incident, authorities said. The officers’ conditions were not immediately known.
The officers conditions were not known immediately. One person was in custody, the county police seaid. One person was taken into custody in connection with the matter, according to Sgt. Jonathan Perok, a county police spokesman.
Police said the incident occurred in the Lake Ridge area , in the 13000 block of Lashmere Court, and was “domestic related.” The shooting broke out after officers went to the 13000 block of Lashmere Court, in the Lake Ridge area.
It was not immediately clear what prompted the gunfire, or whether any of the officers fired their weapons.
