Disruption after lorry crashes on M40 | |

Tailbacks are continuing into the evening after a lorry smashed through the central reservation of the M40 onto the opposite side of the motorway. | |
The crash happened just after 11:00 GMT northbound between J16 of the M40 in Henley-in-Arden and J3A, where it joins the M42. | |
The lorry driver suffered minor injuries, the ambulance service said. | |
Three lanes of the M40 northbound will be shut until at least 23:00, Highways England said. | |
The vehicle collided with two other lorries and a bridge and ended up on its side on the southbound carriageway. | |
An hour later there were five miles of tailbacks southbound and four miles northbound, Highways England said. | |
