Strathclyde Police said they still wanted to speak to anyone who may have seen Irina after she left the family home in Govanhill. It had originally been feared that the teenager may have been abducted. Strathclyde Police said she would be interviewed by officers later.
The teenager had been on her way to the Somerfield store in Victoria Road.
She would normally have walked along Daisy Street, Calder Street and then on to Victoria Road, although there are a number of routes in Govanhill that she could have used.
Det Supt John Mitchell said: "I would urge anyone who may have been in Daisy Street, Calder Street or Victoria Road on Saturday morning and who may have seen anyone fitting Irina's description to come forward."
Irina is described as being 5ft 4in tall, of slim build with long brown hair and a fair complexion.
When last seen she was wearing a red ankle-length skirt and a red long-sleeved top.
