The bodies of four people have been discovered in a house in Newcastle. Police have launched a murder inquiry after the bodies of four people were found at a house in Newcastle.
Northumbria police say the bodies of two adults and two children - thought to be from the same family - were found in the city's Hawthorn Gardens. The bodies, two adults and a girl aged about nine and a boy aged about five - thought to be from the same family - were found in Hawthorn Gardens.
A force spokeswoman said the deaths were being treated as suspicious and that a man who was known to visit the address was being sought. Police are trying to trace a man who was a "regular visitor" to the house and was there on Tuesday morning.
