Thirteen people have been injured after bus carrying teenagers from Wales crashed in eastern France, local media have reported. Thirteen people have been injured and three left in a critical condition, after a coach carrying Welsh teenagers crashed in eastern France, local media reported.
The bus was said to be heading to Italy when it crashed on its side on a motorway near Lons-le-Saunier, towards the Swiss border.
It is believed that 48 people were travelling on the bus, with the majority of the passengers aged between 14 and 17.
Two helicopters were dispatched to the scene.
The Foreign Office said it is aware of the incident but is yet to confirm any details.
