One person is missing and two others have been airlifted to hospital after being pulled from the sea on the East Sussex coast. | |
A search at Camber Sands is continuing for the missing person who was last seen in the water. | |
South East Coast Air Ambulance Service confirmed two males had been rescued from the sea and resuscitated before being taken to hospital. | |
A spokesman said both were in a life-threatening condition. | |
The coastguard, the RNLI and police are all involved in the search. | |
The RNLI said it received a call to launch a lifeboat from Rye Harbour at 12:40 BST. | |
