A jury has been sworn in for the retrial of former Wales footballer Ched Evans, who is facing a charge of rape. A woman allegedly raped by footballer Ched Evans remembers "practically nothing" of the night, a court heard.

His retrial at Cardiff Crown Court is expected to last two weeks. The case was opened and adjourned for the day on Tuesday.
The trial is being heard by Wales' top judge Mrs Justice Nicola Davies, and Simon Medland QC, prosecuting, is set to open the case to jurors at 14:00 BST. Prosecutor Simon Medland QC, said the woman thought her drink may have been spiked, but not by Mr Evans.
Jurors were told that after raping his victim, Mr Evans left "surreptitiously" via the hotel fire exit.
