He was airlifted to John Hunter hospital, where he remains in a stable condition. Glen Ramplin from the Westpac rescue helicopter service told the ABC: “The people on the property ... have come across the young boy and emergency services have been called,”
The boy was airlifted to Scone hospital and was then transported by ambulance to John Hunter hospital in Newcastle.
“He’s obviously a tough little boy,” Ramplin said.
All occupants had been ejected from the vehicle, and the three men were located dead at the scene, police said.
