Dewsbury MP Shahid Malik, who lives just a few minutes walk from the scene ofthe murder, said he was shocked such a terrible incident could happen there.
"The thoughts and prayers of the people of Dewsbury and the country are withthe family of this young man at this tragic and truly devastating time," he said.
"Having spoken to the police I know they are desperate to deliver justice for the family and we all need to get fully behind the police effort.
"It is crucial that people put their faith in the police and not jump to anyconclusions."
