South Wales Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a two-year-old boy. | |
An ambulance was called to an address at Nantymoel in Bridgend county just before midnight on Wednesday. | |
The boy was initially taken to hospital in Bridgend, but he was later transferred to the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff, where he died. | |
On Thursday morning police remained at the terraced house on Ogwy Street, the main road through the village. | |

One neighbour said they had seen the boy playing during recent warm weather. | |
