A South Wales police investigation has been launched after the body of a woman was found in Swansea and a younger woman was arrested for drug offences. Police investigating the death of a 43-year-old woman in Swansea say a 31-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of manslaughter.
Officers are treating the death of the 43-year-old woman as suspicious, and have set up an incident room at Swansea Central police station. Her body was found at Bethesda Street in the city centre on Thursday.
The second woman, aged 24, is in custody at the station. A 41-year-old man charged with perverting the course of justice appeared before magistrates on Monday.
