Woman, 31, arrested after death City centre death appeal renewed

Police investigating the death of a 43-year-old woman in Swansea say a 31-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of manslaughter. Police investigating the death of a 42-year-old woman in Swansea have named her as Julie Richardson.
Her body was found at Bethesda Street in the city centre on Thursday. Meanwhile a 31-year-old woman arrested on suspicion of manslaughter has been released on bail.
Ms Richardson's body was found on the steps next to the Ken Bukan Karate Club on Bethesda Street in the city centre around 1830 BST on Thursday.

A 24-year-old woman has been released without charge. A Home office post mortem examination on the woman's body is ongoing, said police. A 24-year-old woman has been released without charge.
Police said a team of officers was conducting inquiries and was keen to speak to anyone with information about the death. Detective Chief Inspector Danny Richards said police were waiting the results of forensic tests.

He added: "As a result of our appeal we have had an excellent response, and we are in the process of speaking to a number of witnesses who have provided us with some vital information.
"I would like to express my thanks to the local community who have provided us with a great deal of help and assistance.
"In particular I would like to praise a member of the public for attempting to administer first aid to Julie in an attempt to revive her."
Ms Richardson's family and the coroner for Swansea have been informed of her death.
