The Coastguard helicopter plus two lifeboats from Ramsgate and Harwich are continuing the search. Kaimes Beasley, from the Dover Coastguard, said there was "still hope" of finding the missing crew alive.
A spokeswoman for the MCA said the search was covering an area from Ramsgate to the mid-channel. Two helicopters, including one from the Belgian search and rescue service, plus two lifeboats from Ramsgate and Harwich are searching an area from Ramsgate to mid-channel.
