Getting on a flight can sometimes be awkward these days. Videos showing a man being violently removed from a United Airlines flight have provoked a public outcry on social media.
But once you have boarded you can usually breathe a sigh of relief knowing that you will soon be on your way. The footage taken from inside the airliner shows a man being violently pulled out of his seat and dragged down the aisle as passengers prepared to take off from Chicago to Louisville on Sunday evening.
However, one passenger on a flight from Chicago was not going anywhere - he was forced off the plane instead.

It shows three men who appear to be flight security staff pulling the man by his arms out of his seat and dragging him down the aisle as other passengers watch in horror. Jayse D Ansbach, who posted the footage tweeted: "#United overbooked and wanted four of us to volunteer to give up our seats for personnel that needed to be at work the next day."
