Police were called to Shepiston Lane, Hayes, at 8.41pm on Friday night. A 28-year-old man who was inside a black Audi was arrested and taken to a west London hospital for treatment. The Metropolitan police said: “The vehicle involved is believed to have been travelling at high speed and came to a stop a short distance away from the collision.
“At least two males are reported to have left this car following the collision. One of them was detained by members of the public. This 28-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.”
